In our ASAP Chem Class the Nitric Acid was concentrated to 15.8 Molar just a ballpark range
So this is how they make Nuka Cola Quantum. No wonder so many wastelanders die.

The blue green at the start is not copper nitrate– it is a nitrato complex.  The copper 2 ion is blue and is formed when the water is pulled into the reaction vessel.You can find the equation  on this video and a literature citation which explains details of the reaction.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdNyunHuntw
