We use Singapore pennys
Your experiment worked and I had an old dirty 1938 coin looked like government made right out of its place
This will work with copper coins. Make sure to check if your coins are 100% copper.
For example, if they have zinc in them, they'll respond differently to the mixture.

i tryed this and tge coins changed back to the same dirty coin
