From where can I find litmus paper??
ohh good wish that you teach me
is stomach acid dangerous? like if you swallow it,but why would I swallow it? Rule #1 of Chemisry: NEVER EAT,DRINK,SWALLOW THE CHEMICALS OR PUT THE CHEMICALS ON YOU!
I like your videos, but this is definitely a teachable moment for others. Since you are using a strong acid, please follow your own advice with the PPE gear!
the salt water is neutral because the Na+ ion and the Cl- ion from the salt are conjugates of strong acids/bases (respectively) and can therefore not re-react to form their respective acids and bases. this prevents it from producing the H+ and OH- ions that make it acidic or basic. Â Water is actually an acid and a base, not "not an acid nor a base" it produces both the H+ and OH- ions, so it therefore creates both a base and an acid.Â
